Career

1979 Graduated from Juntendo University School of Medicine and joined the Pediatrics Department in the same year.
1987 Appointed Director of the Pediatrics Department at Ishioka City Medical Association Hospital in Ibaraki Prefecture
1988 Studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, and engaged in research into allergies and gastrointestinal immunity
1990 Study abroad at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia
1991 While working as a pediatrics lecturer at Juntendo University Hospital, he opened Maeda Children’s Clinic in Gyotoku, Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture.

I am a specialist at the Japan Pediatric Society and the Japanese Society of Allergology. I specialize in allergic diseases, including food allergies, and conduct research in a wide range of immunological fields. I conduct numerous experiments on gastrointestinal immunity, focusing on the immune response to the ingestion of food antigens, and apply this knowledge to my daily clinical interactions with patients.
